Privacy
This is a short site and a short policy. The only information we ask for is what you type into the consultation form, and we use it to reply to you about your site.

Who we are

What we collect
The form on our contact page asks for three things: your name, your phone number and the postcode of the site. All three have to be filled in, and they are the only things the page asks you to type.
The form also records which project or area page you were looking at when you sent it and, if you choose one, whether a morning, afternoon or evening call suits you; the optional second step, on the page you land on afterwards, asks the type of project, how far along it is, a rough budget and anything else you want to add.
The form also sends which pages of this site you looked at during your visit, how you arrived here, and whether you were on a phone, so we can call you with the right project in mind.
Nothing is sent anywhere until you press the button. Typing into the form and then closing the page sends us nothing.
Why we collect it
We use it only to reply to you about your project. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes
When you send the form, what you have typed is emailed to us so that we can answer it, and a copy is kept in a private spreadsheet (Google Sheets) that only we can see, so an enquiry is never lost. We do not sell or share your details, and we delete them if you ask.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your project, and delete them if you ask.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write or call and we will do it. If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right; you can also complain to the UK's data protection regulator.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Umami), hosted on our own server, to count visits and see which pages are used and how people arrive. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and collects nothing that identifies you personally. There are no advertising tags. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font service.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare may keep records of requests made to the site in order to serve it and keep it secure.
Links to other sites
Some pages link out: to the architects we have built for, and to our sister company Extend Bespoke. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy and not ours.
Changes to this page
If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too.
